1. About MerMo

MerMo (Medical Revision Moments) is a medical exam revision platform operated as a sole trader business registered in England. The platform is available at www.ukmer.co.uk.

By accessing or using MerMo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use MerMo. The platform is designed for medical students and healthcare professionals preparing for UK and international medical examinations.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

MerMo offers both free and paid (Pro) tiers. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support@ukmer.co.uk if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

Top-up credits: One-time purchases of additional AI cases or SBA credits are non-refundable once used.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on MerMo — including clinical cases, questions, explanations, and AI-generated material — is the intellectual property of MerMo. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.

AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for clinical judgement or medical advice.

While we strive for accuracy, medical knowledge evolves and AI-generated content may contain errors. Users should verify clinical information through authoritative sources.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep MerMo available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time. Material changes to these terms will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MerMo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to MerMo in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
